Residential Clinician

To provide quality clinical intervention, individual, family, and group therapy for children residing within Helix Human Services programs. Clinical Case management and care coordination is also required from intake to discharge of a child within the residential program. Ensure completion of Clinical summaries for presentation to agency, agency prescriber, and collateral contacts.

The Cottage Residential program is an inclusive environment designed to support male clients, regardless of how they identify, who have experienced trauma, with moderate to severe mental health and behavioral challenges.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or a clinical M.ED License Eligible (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, PhD).
• Requires a minimum of two years’ experience as a clinician with youth who have experienced trauma and/or emotional/behavioral challenges.
• Requires an excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Requires ability to write professional reports.
• Requires good communication skills.
• Requires the ability to work as part of a team in an alternative setting.
• Availability to work evenings, as needed.
• Requires a valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Requires the maintenance of Licensure, including continuing education and ethical responsibility.
• Requires the willingness and interest in evidence and brain based interventions.
