Job Summary:
The CVT Project Manager develops, implements, and communicates project plans to completion for new products and product related programs. This role administers one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple projects or sub-projects related to cartridge valve and manifold solutions product support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work with a cross functional team to drive project milestones to launch new products and support in product improvements as well as value engineering projects.
- Creates reports and communicates project status to project stakeholders and company leadership
- Executes projects that meet the needs of the organization, its employees, or customers
- Supervises the work of program or project team members to ensure that work is completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications
- Evaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics
- Ensures that activities are following organizational policies and any relevant external regulations
- Develops standard operating procedures and work instructions as needed.
- Evaluates and presents project risk and develops risk mitigation for new product development and other CVT projects.
- Develops and maintains project budgets to ensure the quality of the project business valuation
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Exceptional Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to generate and update project scheduling Gantt charts
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- Possesses knowledge or strong interest in project management principles
- Knowledge of common manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering standards and drawings
- Ability to handle project financial analysis
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to travel as necessary
