Helios Commercial Service Partners is Hiring a Purchasing Specialist - Northeast Region Near Philadelphia, PA

JOB SUMMARY

As a Purchasing Specialist at Helios Commercial HVACR, your role will involve the procurement of parts and materials essential for the maintenance and repair of commercial HVACR systems. This may include identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, processing requisitions, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring that the necessary parts are delivered and obtained in a timely and cost-effective manner. Additionally, you may be responsible for supporting inventory tracking, tracking and managing orders, and collaborating with other team members to ensure that the necessary parts are available when needed. Using company directed suppliers to leverage best pricing, reducing lead time, and monitoring pricing trends will inform the purchasing decisions.

WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:

  • Sourcing and Procurement: Processing PO requisitions from field, selecting approved suppliers, placing orders for HVACR parts and materials, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials.
  • Inventory Management: Working with systems and teams to maintain accurate inventory levels, tracking stock levels of essential parts, and ensuring that adequate quantities are available to support maintenance and repair activities.
  • Vendor Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, and proactively addressing any issues to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Monitoring and controlling procurement costs by seeking best pricing or rebate opportunities and adhering to budgetary constraints without compromising quality or performance.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with field teams to understand their parts and materials requirements and coordinating efforts to ensure seamless supply chain management.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring that all purchasing activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records, and participating in inventory audits as needed.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

  • High school education or GED required; Associates and/or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years purchasing experience required.
  • Demonstrated procurement and purchasing experience.
  • Proven flexibility and dependable performance.

Helios Service Partners compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $19.00 in our lowest geographic market up to $26.00 in our highest geographic market.
