A sales associate is responsible for maintaining quality service exceeding the expectations of our customers. To achieve this, we expect our associates to provide a friendly environment which includes: greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding customer service standards and solid product knowledge.
Expectations and Responsibilities:
- Strong, positive customer service
- Participate in generating sales
- Maintaining general cleanliness of store, warehouse, and assigned areas
- Upholding the retail disciplines of fronting, facing
- Participate in continuing education and training to maintain knowledge of products and services
- Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- May be required to lift at least 10 lbs. up to 25 lbs. and possibly 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication
- Ability to perform and understand basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and fractions
- Ability to read instructions, policies, procedures, and complete forms either in writing or using a computer
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
