Description

Heidtman Tubular Products, a Heidtman Steel company, is looking for skilled Tube Mill Operators on our new state-of-the-art, fully-automated Tube Mill at our Erie, MI facility. All positions reports to the Tube Mill Supervisor. Current staffing for 2nd (afternoons) and 3rd shift (overnight). 

Responsibilities include:

• Using forklift and overhead crane to move material, load, unload and store finished goods and in process material
• Verification and proper identification of material.
• Create and maintain safe work environment.
• Assist Operators on the line when necessary
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior Tube Mill experience desired
• Experience operating overhead cranes & forklifts (preferred)
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Able to read measuring devices/equipment
• High School Diploma/GED (preferred, not required)
