Description
Heidtman Steel Products, Inc. has openings in the Maintenance Department at our Erie, MI facility.
Maintenance personnel are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment (including pickle lines and slitting lines) in a hands-on work environment. Currently staffing for 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM). Wages starting at $27.47, plus shift differential.

Requirements
INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Ability work mandatory overtime.
Must provide Basic tools / tool box
Must be comfortable using a Multi-Volt Meter
Comfortable working and troubleshooting 120V/208V, 277V and 480V electrical systems
Experience in troubleshooting electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining slitting machine preferred.
Must be able to stick/mig weld – maintenance welding and some fabrication.
Must know how to perform preventative maintenance on fork trucks and overhead cranes.
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches and schematics.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills.
Must be Computer literate.
