Overview

The HEI Internship Program is a 10 12 week fast track development opportunity for college students to expand their knowledge in the hospitality industry.

The Intern will spend their program immersing themselves into the front of house Food and Beverage discipline by shadowing critical leaders, attending operational meetings and working alongside the associates and leadership team that ensure the day-to-day success of the department.

The objective of this program is to provide you with a foundation that will prepare you for a long-term career within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of Summer programming campaigns from pool activations to room packages
• Work with the F&B team to launch cocktail features and contests in all Summer leisure markets
• Develop a tracker to monitor success of activations and campaigns over the Summer
• Work alongside HEI beverage partners to build additional Summer toolkits
• Provide support from a creative, F&B marketing, and activation standpoint to high volume Summer leisure hotels
• Support Director or Marketing, Lifestyle Hotels efforts with quarterly toolkits for spa, F&B, and room campaigns

Qualifications

• Recent or current graduate of a hospitality program preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public, etc.
