Assist guests with their food and beverage needs while on property.

This is a temporary role starting at $18.99 per hour.

The following are specific contributions that must be developed during the training program in order to successfully complete the program and be placed in a hotel with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive.
• Prepare food, set up breakfast buffet and replenish food as needed.
• Break down and remove food items from buffet.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, equipment, service stations, tables, buffet area and the bar in the evenings.
• Transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area and properly clean items.
• Maintain supplies of dishes, napkins and other items to service the F&B area.
• Prep any food items for daily events
• Prepare coffee orders as requested accurately and efficiently and in accordance with Hyatt Place Brand Standards.
• PM F&B Attendant to service the bar and prepare food and beverage items as needed. Input orders through the POS system and settle guest accounts by room charges or credit card charges.
• Comply with unit and brand procedures and standards.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

• Education and Experience

  • Hotel experience preferred.

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching upward with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 150 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
  • Must be available to work early mornings.
