Responsibilities

• Maintains constant surveillance of the pool and pool area
• Ensures and oversees the safety and needs of everyone using pool or pool area
• Activates emergency response pendant in case of an emergency
• Checks water temperature of pool and Jacuzzi at shift onset and reports any problems to maintenance or the concierge desk
• Logs the name of pool attendees including residents and guests in log book
• Ensures that all resident’s family and guests follow the pool guidelines posted
• Maintains tidiness in pool area including keeping chairs in order, inside and outside on patio, returning floats and weights to proper storage area
• Assist in other light duties or activities as designated by Fitness Department

Required Qualifications

• Must be certified lifeguard with CPR training
• Some experience with senior population preferred
• Ability to pass a CORI background check and physical examination including TB test
