Position Summary
Tile Quality Control at Heath is a key part of the finished goods process; you are inspecting the glazed and fired tile, counting, recording losses, packing tile in boxes, and organizing the finished goods for client orders. This position has an eight-month training period to learn all the various tile glazes and acceptable variations and quality control standards. An ideal candidate has very good attention to detail, works rapidly, and is always mindful of quality. This role is hands-on working in a production environment; the work is steady-paced, on your feet, and requires the ability to lift, move, bend, and twist throughout the workday.
Candidates must be good at math, accurate counters, comfortable using computers and tablets, and able to carefully read work orders. Responsibilities

This position is a full-time, non-exempt role that is on-site at our San Francisco Factory & Showroom. The hours for this position are 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This is a Union position and begins at $25.00 hourly.
