About the Role

The Company is seeking a Sr. Director of Issuing Strategy to lead a center of excellence that focuses on defining and sharing best practices with customers to enhance their card programs. This role is pivotal in advising and guiding the marketing strategy of the company's clients, ensuring they build and execute integrated plans that drive growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning rewards and loyalty consulting, as well as the go-to-market program strategy. They will also be at the forefront of interfacing with a diverse range of businesses, from startups to large enterprises, and will be instrumental in building and running successful card marketing campaigns.Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 15 years of related experience, with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, and at least 10 years in enterprise Card Program marketing roles. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, solution-focused, and detail-oriented, with a proven track record in strategic thinking and problem-solving. Experience in translating business strategies into actionable plans, and the ability to understand and synthesize large amounts of data for decision-making, are essential. The role requires a leader who can work effectively with senior executives and is capable of driving multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional communication skills. Future opportunities in the role include expanding marketing services to Co-Brand partners and developing advanced marketing models for the company's cardholders.
