May record information to reflect sanitation activities and issues. Advises/updates supervisor/manager of progress and or other non-routine issues.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:Disassemble and reassemble critical equipment and pumpsUnderstand equipment instructions, manuals, specifications, and safety requirementsRead instruments and record all required dataMaintain cleanliness of all work areasRemove trash and debrisAdditional duties as assignedClean and sanitize the following areas:Production areasPackaging areasWalls and CeilingsAll equipment including elevated conveyorsExterior plant area as neededPerform food safety and quality testing including:Titration levelsAPC SwabsAllergen testingLRN SwabsAfter training safely operate:Floor scrubberPallet JacksBoom liftScissor liftEducation and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; at least six months experience in a sanitation production environment preferred.Work Environment and Physical Requirements:Manufacturing environment - exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures.Depending on which location, our environments can be very warm or refrigerated.Team environment - must be able to work well with others and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.Ability to stand up to 80% of the time scheduledAbility to lift 40 lbs. unassisted and 40-75 lbs. assisted.
