Heart & Soul Integrative Health is looking for a Medical Assistant or LVN for our holistic medical office. Schedule is 4 days per week and possible 5th day covering other staff on some weeks. On call weekend/afterhour on a rotating schedule. Pay will be based on experience and certification. COVID 19 vaccine and masks not required as condition of employment.

Responsibilities:
Detail-oriented LVN or MA who is passionate about patient safety, experience, and driving positive change in healthcare to improve patient outcomes

Performs various patient care tasks, while exhibiting teamwork characteristics with providers and other staff

Escort patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measure, and document vitals

Ability to perform EKG's, draw blood, and administer injections

Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician

Ensure all related reports, labs, and information is filed and is available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment

Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required

Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls

Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians

Communicate effectively with office support staff, Providers, Nurse Practitioners, and Office Manager

Qualifications:
Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting

Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism

Demonstrates initiative, insight, and judgement in decision-making process

Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to general nursing care

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients

Excellent bedside manner and ability to make patients feel at ease

Demonstrates sound judgment and composure with the ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
