HealthQuest Esoterics is Hiring an IT Manager Near Irvine, CA

Job Summary

The IT Manager leads the IT department. They ensure cost effective, reliable, and appropriate health IT software, systems, and operation. The IT Manager also ensures productive relationships with relevant technology vendors to identify and acquire cost conscious, effective, and reliable software, hardware, services, and licenses.

**Must have healthcare experience and an understanding of HIPAA**

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Manage and enforce a productive IT Team, conduct regular performance evaluations, and
  • mentor subordinates in all areas of IT to ensure continuity and knowledge where necessary.
  • Formalize and lead change management to all systems.
  • Create, maintain, and enforce IT procedures and policies.
  • Coordinate, deliver, and own on-time IT projects.
  • Analyze complex business needs and recommend the most effective, budget conscious, relevant
  • technical solutions.
  • Identify cost reductions and savings through efficient IT maintenance, upgrades, and sunsets.
  • Ensure maintenance and freshness of users, applications, systems, servers, network, and VOIP.
  • Manage, deploy, maintain, and/or decommission endpoints, servers, software, and network.
  • Educate end users on IT services, workstations, and systems.

o Ensure service issues and requests are identified, followed through, communicated, and

completed effectively.

o Provide technical support across the company (in-person, online, and/or via phone).

o User, group, role, and enterprise domain provisioning, configuration, and

documentation

o Manage hosted and cloud infrastructure.

  • Review all designs, code, and unit test plans where applicable.
  • Communicate metrics and assessments regularly to leadership.

Required Education and Experience

  • Healthcare information technology experience required.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare integrations (HL7 and API).
  • Current knowledge and experience with health information technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years desktop support experience.
  • Knowledge, experience, and deployment of firewalls, routers, and WiFi.
  • Knowledge, experience, and deployment Cloud (AWS) infrastructure.
  • Degree in Computer Science, related field, or related experience.

  • Must have the ability to listen actively when spoken to and effectively communicate their
  • thoughts to others.
  • Must have the ability to work alone but also in a team, with fellow staff, in the business setting.
  • Must possess good time management skills.
  • Must actively seek to accomplish tasks and be able to use a variety of methods and ideas to
  • solve problems whilst, when needed, seeking advice and/or guidance from fellow employees.

Supervisory Responsibility

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Working Conditions

  • Work in Company’s office located in Irvine, California.
  • Must work in office: Five days a week, based on an 8-hour workday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
