Plan Building Specialist

Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 / hour
Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support Implementation and Account Management teams by consolidating information during new client implementation and/or renewal to ensure the accuracy of benefits
- Create benefit SMART sheets
- Translate benefits from ICD10, HCPCS, CPT, CDT and other insurance billing codes
- Audit plan build work of other teammates
- Build out groups and upload benefit summary to website for members and faxback system for providers
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations
- Process Group terminations
- Correspond with account managers, account coordinators, claims department, and other technical areas
- Troubleshoot claims errors and refer escalated issues to team lead
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- At least 1 year of experience in healthcare field, claims or benefits preferred
- Experience with Self-funded health plans strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of medical billing and coding
- Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Excellent communications skills to effectively interact with various teams
