Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment to fill an opening with a Micro Fulfillment Center in Bolingbrook, IL .

Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment :

Summary : The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment provides assistance in the preparation and distribution of drug products. The Technician is responsible for preparing the prescription medications via use of the fulfillment system.

Job Responsibilities :

• Using prescription data entry procedures and guidelines, processes new patient registration by entering data into appropriate system.
• Handles patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enters refill orders for processing.
• Troubleshoots to obtain missing prescription information and interprets medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
• Resolves all data entry related exceptions.
• Run automated machinery, sort medications, transition inventory through different workflow stages with a focus on quality control.
• Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, pack, and ship.
• Clean and help maintain machinery and maintain an orderly work area.
• Resolves Third Party Rejects by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
• Provides assistance to Pharmacists, both those in the facility and those at other locations.
• Identifies and communicates issues to senior level staff as appropriate.

Shift : Monday to Friday 4 : 30PM - 12 : 30AM or Shift : Tuesday - Saturday 11 : 00AM - 7 : 00PM

Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment :

• Clear and Active Pharmacy Tech License in IL. If a candidate is certified that is great but it is not required. The site will assist anyone who needs it in getting certified
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills, typing speed of 35 WPM
• Minimum 6 months of pharmacy tech experience
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk around facility
• Ability to regularly lift 25-50 lbs

Physical Requirement : Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.

This position can be fast pace at times and require contractors to be on their feet throughout the day

Pay Details : $19 / hour
