Medical Assistant

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Assistant to fill an opening with a well-know and highly rated Oncology Provider in Venice, FL!

Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant :

• Will be taking temperature, oximetry readings / normal blood oxygen saturation level, vitals, weight, drawing blood, performing blood pressure checks, and rooming patients
• Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Looking for a quick learner who can adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Shift : Monday Friday; 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm

Required Qualifications for Medical Assistant :

• 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist in a busy medical office
• Experience with a high volume of patients they see around 200 per day
• Experience taking temperature, vitals, weight, performing blood pressure checks, rooming patients, and taking patient medical history
• Must have experience with Phlebotomy
• Must have excellent computer skills

Pay Details : $18 - $25 / HR based on relevant experience
