Hybrid Medical Director – Ancillary Services
HealthCare Support is seeking a Hybrid Medical Director – Ancillary Services to fill an opening with a Managed Care company!

Daily Responsibilities for Medical Director – Ancillary Services :

  • Oversee the Pay for Hospitalist Performance Program and SNF, Home Health & Hospice Services
  • Be the direct contact for all hospitals, SNFs, and hospice
  • Inform and educate hospital and ancillary clinicians about relevant changes in clinical best practices and regulatory mandates
  • Articulate the importance of hospice and post-acute services to the community, which includes how these impact hospital care quality and Member/patient experience.
  • Indirectly oversees staff- administers hires, terminations, and performance reviews
  • Hybrid Position: 3 days in-office, 2 days WFH
Required Qualifications for Medical Director – Ancillary Services :
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-residency or licensure experience
  • 3 years of administrative experience
  • Strong product and program management experience, product delivery, product environments, and management consulting
  • Experience in quality, care coordination, and utilization management in an inpatient, ACO, or FQHC environment with a focus on Home Health / Hospice
  • Driver’s License Required and valid automobile insurance
  • Excellent Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Benefits for Medical Director – Ancillary Services :
  • Very low healthcare premiums ($35 – $100 depending on the plan!)
  • 3 ½ weeks of PTO (18 days) & 11 Paid Holidays
  • Fitness Reimbursement up to $125/a year and on-site fitness facility
  • Tuition reimbursement after 1 year of employment
  • 457(b) Retirement Plan – matches 3% of base salary
  • CalPERS Retirement Plan (i.e., pension plan for all employees) – full vesting after 5 years
Pay Details:
  • $246,000 - $344,000 annually 5% bonus based on HEDIS measures
