- Will assist providers in the examination and treatment of patients
- Will provide care in triaging, collecting vital signs, blood draws, provide medication reconciliation, and more.
- Will also work in the front of the office as needed, to cover another employee if they are caring for a patient, and can be checking patients in, answering calls, etc.
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm / ONSITE
- 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care background
- Cariology, urology, cancer/oncology specialty clinics also good
- Experience dealing with front office procedures like check in/check out, scheduling appointments, and answering phones
- Long tenures in job history (at least 1-2 jobs with 1.5-2 years tenure)
- Managed care background
- Skills:
- Vital signs
- Manual blood pressure
- Documentation (ie: chief complaints)
- EMR experience (preferred, not required)
- Preventative care knowledge, like imaging and screenings
- Medication knowledge
- Lab knowledge (ie: orders and reporting results)
- Vital signs
- Managed Care background
- Experience with geriatrics
- eCW Experience
- Phlebotomy Skills
