Daily Responsibilities for a Medical Assistant:
- Assist providers in the examination and treatment of patients following established standards and practice
- Provide care in triaging, collecting vital signs, blood draws, provide medication reconciliation, and more
- They will also work in the front of the office as needed, to cover another employee if they are caring for a patient, and can be checking patients in, answering calls, etc
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (40 hours/week) / Coverage for LOA for 6-12 weeks
- 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care background
- Experience dealing with front office procedures like check in/check out, scheduling appointments, and answering phones
- Vital signs, Manual blood pressure and Documentation
- Preventative care knowledge, like imaging and screening
- Medication and lab knowledge
- Experience with geriatrics
- eCW Experience
- Phlebotomy Skills
- Immediate enrollment in Health Insurance
