Hybrid Accounts Receivable Representative
HealthCare Support is actively seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to fill an opening with one of the largest Primary Care practices in Fort Myers, FL!Daily Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Representative:

This individual will report to a supervisor on the Medical Billing/Business Services Team who will help facilitate their training, and act as a mentor.
This individual will be responsible for researching EOB's, reviewing claims rejections, identifying errors (missing demographic information, coding error, etc.), making appropriate corrections, communicating with providers and/or patients, resubmitting claims for approval and payment from the payers.
SHIFT: Monday – Friday, 8-hour day
3 Days working from home, 2 days in office

Required Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Representative:

Must have 6 months experience as an A/R / Reimbursement / Medical Billing Representative
Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurances
Thorough knowledge of insurance carrier billing and reimbursement, CPT codes, modifiers, and fee schedule differences
Experience utilizing EMRs

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Representative:

Athena EMR experience
Experience with XIFIN billing system
Associates degree in a relative field of study
