Healthcare Administrative Services PA is Hiring an AR Representative Near Overland Park, KS
Anesthesia Associates of Kansas City, seeks a full-time Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team. The AR Representative manages assigned accounts, ensuring timely payment, collaborating with insurance carriers, and resolving billing issues. After completing training in office, the schedule for this position will change to hybrid role with specific days in office (Overland Park, KS).
Responsibilities:
- Ensures patient accounts are accurate
- Partners with insurance companies to resolve issues
- Initiates insurance adjustments
- Keeps management informed of progress, escalating cases as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years medical billing experience, preferably in anesthesia or pain management
- 1-2 years insurance billing experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology, billing and collections practices, medical procedures essential
- Attention to detail, organized, service focused
- Working knowledge of practice management systems
- Strong computer skills in MicroSoft Office suite applications
