Job Title: Product Manager - Managed Service Solutions

Location: Philadelphia, PA or Remote

Position Overview:

As the Product Manager for Direct IO Publisher Solutions at Health Union, you will be pivotal in driving the development and optimization of our direct insertion order business on wholly owned community websites and social products, while also enhancing our CRM/Email capabilities to maximize publisher revenue and customer engagement. You will facilitate strategic planning and execution of product initiatives tailored to meet the needs of our partners and streamline internal processes.


What You Do:

Product Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Assist in defining and executing product go-to-market strategy for our direct insertion order business capabilities, ensuring alignment with the overarching product vision and business needs. Partner with Integrated Marketing to ensure effective messaging is developed and implemented.
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, measurement and client requirements to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Align with Outcomes team on RFP process, response, approval, and escalation processes, aide in supporting the successful execution of responses.

Evaluation:

  • Conduct regular analysis to assess utilization and performance of direct insertion order business capabilities, tracking metrics such as revenue generation, cost efficiency, measurement attainment and client satisfaction are key. Use insights gathered to optimize product offerings and enhance customer experience.
  • Lead the development of a universal timeline for product mgt/development to ideate, develop/test, build, message/train, and respond to RFPs annually, (including evaluation of in market solutions).

Pricing Strategy:

  • Own ongoing evaluation of pricing strategy for direct insertion order business, considering market trends, competitive landscape, and publisher value proposition. Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure pricing models align with revenue goals and business objectives.
  • Placement Strategy: Align strategy around ad placement, inventory management, and RFP response on our wholly owned community websites, optimizing revenue potential with an eye to user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and integration with demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs) and other channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, operations/outcomes, community and tech teams to align product strategy with business goals and priorities.

Market Analysis:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and legal/regulatory changes in the publisher advertising landscape. Gather market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in direct insertion order business. Partner with product development on market analyses when possible.

What You Bring:

  • 4 years of Product Management experience in digital advertising or publishing or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the advertising purchasing and delivery life cycle
  • Programmatic advertising experience preferred
  • Ability to build consensus and work across a highly matrixed environment a must
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, product management or related field preferred; product management certification such as CPM a plus

Annual base salary for positions at this level and job group is $75,000 - $105,000, and your base pay will depend on the qualifications, experience, skills and competencies required for this job.
