Health Solutions is a premier wellness center focused on whole person care. With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.

We’re hiring a full-time Support Staff to work at our various Health Solutions Outpatient Offices in Trinidad.

Work Schedule: Will vary Monday-Friday depending on coverage needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a member of the Support Staff in Trinidad, you would be working in a fast-paced behavioral healthcare and addiction recovery practice. Creating and sustaining positive, compassionate interactions with clients and co-workers, and providing high quality service will be central to the work you do. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be important to your responsibilities.

Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Director of Healthcare Services or designee, the Support Staff will:

  • Covers front desk reception area;
  • Operates switchboard/reception phone;
  • Types daily reports, correspondence, progress notes & related material;
  • Schedules as well as reschedules appointments for clients who request changes or cancellations;
  • Processes Release of Information requests;
  • Insurance verification;
  • Balances cash drawer/box;
  • Maintains the client’s electronic health records as needed;
  • Completes clinical department’s job requests as needed;
  • Covers for co-workers on breaks and lunches; Works hours that cover agency hours (hours may vary by location and programmatic needs);
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor/director.
  • Physical requirements include the following
  • Requires standing, sitting, driving, and walking for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 20 pounds
  • Requires working under stress in emergency situations
  • Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids
  • Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment to enter, manage or look up data
  • Consistently communicates with patients.
  • Requires occasional driving in adverse weather conditions

What We’re Looking For—The Must-Haves

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year of reception experience, including basic computer and keyboarding skills
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility
  • Colorado driver’s license and access to reliable transportation during work hours


What We’d Like to See in You—The Nice-to-Haves

  • Medical support experience
  • Spanish language skills
