Health Research, Inc. is Hiring an Internship - Hourly Project Assistant I Near Albany, NY

ANNOUNCEMENT OF HRI HOURLY OPPORTUNITY
TITLE
: Hourly Project Assistant I
HOURLY RATE : $16.00
LOCATION : Albany, NY 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Detail-oriented; experience with MS Excel, including experience sorting and filtering data, etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Coursework, demonstrated interest and/or knowledge of birth defects; experience working in an office environment 
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Hourly Project Assistant will be part of the Birth Defects Study to Evaluate Pregnancy exposures (BD-STEPS) team. BD-STEPS is a case-control study that seeks to identify risk factors for birth defects. The incumbent will assist with active surveillance activities, including reviewing reports for completeness, organizing files, de-duplicating reports, and importing into existing database. The incumbent may also assist with participant recruitment activities, including creating and organizing study mailings, scanning study documents, and tracking use of study incentives. 
DETAILS OF EMPLOYMENT: A minimum of 8 hours a week, up to 20 hours a week.

Hourly, grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
Valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting may not be available. If telecommuting is available, the incumbent will be required to have a telephone/mobile device, and internet access.
