Seeking:

Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to assist Part-time at a local county jail in the beautiful city of Coupeville, WA

Position Details:

• Part-Time Schedule
• Dayshift 
• Rotate Weekends
• Paid Orientations & Facility Training

Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the facility
• Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the facility
• Provide patient education and support the nursing team equally
• Effectively document wellness checks and all forms of patient care

Licensure/Education:

• 3 years (minimum) required as a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification Preferred)
• Corrections, Behavioral Health, Urgent Care Settings highly valued

Employment Qualifications:

• Current CPR Certification
• Ability to obtain current Tuberculosis Test and Drug Screen
• Reliable transportation to all scheduled shifts
