Certified Athletic Trainer – Olympia Orthopaedic Associates
Location: Olympia, WA
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24 - $31.67 per hour
(pay is determined based on years of experience)
Summary of benefits:
OOA covers part or all of the cost for Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Long-term Disability Insurance. Employees are eligible to participate in a 401k plan with company matching. Flex spending plans, uniform allowances, and an Employee Assistance Program available as well. New, full-time staff will accrue a minimum of 17 days of paid time off per year.

Certified Athletic Trainer Summary:
The role of the Certified Athletic Trainer is to assist in increasing patient throughput by providing pre- and post-operative care for non-complex injuries. The ATC educational competencies are focused on the musculoskeletal evaluation and diagnosis thus providing a high level of expertise for patient education and care.
Certified Athletic Trainer Requirements:
- Completion of the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers examination.
- Must be NATA BOC certified.
- Must have an active WA Athletic Trainer license or the ability to obtain one prior to hire.
- Must have an active BLS Certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
