Position: Ultrasound Technician / Sonographer (Cardiac / Vein)

Location: Safford, AZ

Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $45/hr

Job Summary:

As a Cardiac/Vein Ultrasound Technician or Sonographer, you will be instrumental in providing efficient and patient-focused care. You will be key in diagnosing and tracking the progress of a patient’s condition using ultrasound equipment, specifically in the areas of cardiac and vascular health. The position requires solid technical knowledge, excellent patient service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a medical team.

Duties:

1. Carry out diagnostic procedures using ultrasound technology, with a focus on cardiac and vascular studies.

2. Interpret ultrasound data to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

3. Manage patient data and create appropriate records.

4. Collaborate with doctors and other medical professionals to understand the required diagnostic procedures and provide relevant data for the same.

5. Maintain the ultrasound equipment to ensure its functionality and reliability.

6. Comply with the safety rules and regulations of the healthcare facility.

7. Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and cooperation during procedures.

8. Stay abreast with the latest developments in ultrasound technology, specifically regarding cardiac and vascular health.

9. Participate in departmental meetings to ensure alignment and coordination of care.

10. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed.

Other Requirements:

Candidates must have RCS / RVT cert or experience in the following studies:

• Echo
• Carotid
• AAA
• Arterial

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 per hour
