We are seeking a Program Director who possesses strong leadership skills and knowledge of best practice to lead and grow a team of mental health professionals.
Reports to Regional Director of Operations: Kristi Snow
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Director (PD) supervises the development and operations of programs and services for a given geographical area. The PD performs liaison functions with referring agencies and is responsible for personnel, financial, and program management functions, as well as daily operations. The PD ensures all licensure, payer, and accreditation regulations and standards are met in their region.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
A Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in human services discipline, including, but not limited to: Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, etc.) and 5 years of experience working with children and families in the in-home/community-based environment, with at least 2 years supervisory experience.
A successful candidate for the Program Director position possesses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Exhibits knowledge of expanded principles of program development, fiscal management, personnel policies and practices
• Demonstrates expertise and knowledge of the principles and practices of clinical services and their effective supervision
• Knowledge of Medicaid and state Payer’s guidelines and licensure requirements essential to the operation of a mental health agency
• Ability to model best practices in leadership with staff, including but not limited to active listening, effective communication, professional boundaries, time management, and collaboration
• Ability to professionally network in community
• Ability to motivate others towards achieving goals
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and implement directives for a variety of departments
• Ability to respect and maintain client confidentiality
• Proficiency in computer operations of email, internet use, data entry, word products such as Excel for reporting purposes
• Ability to evaluate, execute and follow through with well- reasoned decisions that promote the professional integrity of HCA
• Ability to plan and organize daily operations and fiscal activities
