First Home Care is looking for a dedicated and experienced full-time Therapeutic Foster Care Child Placing Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA. Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide administrative guidance and supervision to a team of caseworkers under the direction of the Program Director
• Assist with staffing, to include but not limited to hiring new caseworkers as well as assigning caseloads based on staff availability. 
• Collaborate with referral sources, licensing agencies, social workers, and other stakeholders to maintain compliance with state regulations and agency policies.
• Provide ongoing training, support, and guidance to team of caseworkers to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality services.
• Conduct regular case reviews, ensuring that all documentation and paperwork are accurate and up to date.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work with at least 3 years of experience providing casework to children and families; master's degree in social work-related field (such as sociology, psychology or counseling) with at least 4 years of experience providing casework to children and families; or a bachelor's degree in any field with at least 5 years of experience providing case work to children and families. 
• Transportation: Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Availability: Ability to carry and answer a phone 24/7 for crisis intervention, as needed.
