What Will I Be Doing?
- Manage the maintenance and support of a portfolio of diverse and complex applications that are of critical strategic impact and organizational significance to Health Connect America
- Work with Business/Operations partners and IT to achieve strategic business objectives
- Facilitate project planning activities and integrate individual project strategies into an overall strategy to ensure the effective execution of projects within the Health Connect America IT portfolio of initiatives
- Participate in budgeting and budget approval and monitoring of project financials
- Ensure project related resourcing is effectively articulated and monitor project work to identify and address changes to project scopes and/or resource requirements in a timely manner
- Share experiences, insights, and best practices to optimize the performance and productivity of project teams across Health Connect America IT and ensure activities are aligned with Health Connect America IT and Operations business strategies and priorities
- Responsible for the portfolio budget and the development of operating plans
- Establishes priorities and documents staffing requirements for current and future years
- Identify and oversee the execution of improvements to implement best practices and continuous improvement programs aligned to Operations
- Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to a team of technical and business SME employees
- Must have strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with employees at different levels of the organization
- Ability to research and evaluate technology tools and trends
- Comfortable in making presentations to senior leadership
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously for a staff of 5 analysts
- Must demonstrate excellence in oral and written communication
- BS in Computer Science/Information Systems
- Familiarity and experience Agile and Waterfall SDLC
- Thorough understanding of Business Intelligence tools and products (e.g., Power BI)
- 8 plus years’ prior experience in health care analytics and process automation environment strongly desired
- Working knowledge of Data Lake strategies
- Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Asana) or equivalent preferred
