Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Technical Editor, we'll count on you to:
•Working with technical staff to develop content for qualifications, proposals, and reports, we'll count on you to: In the role of Technical Writer, we'll count on you to:
•Contribute to client development initiatives and activities including target audience messaging
•Create, edit, format and revise client-facing materials using a variety of mediums including print and video
•Contribute to concept development, writing and editing of marketing materials such as technical proposals, reports, handouts, presentations, and video
•Coordinate with other creative disciplines including marketing staff, graphic designers, to maintain consistency of message and brand
•Lead or support other communications efforts as needed, including direct client support, internal communications and client business development
•Perform marketing and other related duties as needed
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or relevant field.
•Minimum 5 years related experience in communications, public relations, public involvement and/or community engagement.
•Proven ability to develop compelling stories that strengthen messaging and engagement strategies for a program, initiative or project.
•Experience collaborating with client mangers, marketing staff & graphic designers, to ensure cohesive message and user experience.
•Experience writing for multiple mediums including print, and audio/video.
•Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
•Service and client-oriented personality with the ability to handle multiple assignments at a time and set and meet deadline
•Self-starter; can work well independently or in a team environment
•Previous consulting experience preferred
•Preference given to local candidate

The expected compensation range for this position is $75,425 - $107,750 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
