HCW Management consultants LLC is Hiring a Breakfast Attendant Near Gilbert, AZ

The A.M. Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing the highest quality of service possible to guests in an efficient and courteous manner within the complimentary breakfast of a hotel. In addition, this individual shall be well-versed on the hotel-brand standards, guest expectations and the and unique characteristics of the hotel and local area. Hourly wage is $14.00-$16.00 an hour.
Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; College course work in related field helpful.
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Possess a positive & upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, & be able to problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal & external customers.
  • Must be able to convey information & ideas clearly.
  • Must be able to evaluate & select among alternative courses of action quickly & accurately.
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying & solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, & clarifying the issues raised by co-workers & guests.
  • Must be able to work with & understand financial information & data, & basic arithmetic functions.
  • Ability to perform numerical operations using basic counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, & dividing.
  • Ability to read, comprehend & write simple instructions and/or short correspondence & memos.
  • Ability to use logic to define the problem, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions interpret information & deal with abstract variables for unique or unfamiliar situations.
  • An operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be willing & have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, & holidays.
  • Holds an understanding of hotel products & guest services (i.e. lifestyle, full service, resort, etc.).
  • Ability to participate in the creation of an enjoyable work environment.
Job Duties & Functions
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must meet the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and satisfactorily pass responsible serving course such as TIPs as required by property
  • Must be able to obtain and provide Food Handlers card as required by city/county/state
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
  • Understanding of hotel products and guest services
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and a desire to be of service to others, as reflected in willingness to learn new tasks and information, provide back-up and support to other team members, and respond
  • to guests and co-workers in a positive and optimistic manner.
  • Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to produce high quality drinks including but not limited to specialty coffee and tea drinks, specialty cocktails and beverage requests, as required by hotel.
  • Ability to perform numerical operations using basic counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing
  • Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions and/or short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to perform job function with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
Physical Requirements
  • Standing: Remaining upright on ones feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
  • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
  • Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward, or outward.
  • Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion.
  • Finger dexterity/grasping: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling. Applying pressure to an object with the fingers & palm.
  • Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of the fingertips.
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers or guests accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, & having the ability to receive information through oral communication.
  • Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Vision: Employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing & analyzing data & figures; determine accuracy, neatness, & thoroughness of the work assigned; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurements devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
  • Lifting: Raising objects up to 10 lbs. from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to positions.
