HCP Talent is Hiring a Registered Nurse Unit Manager Near Lansing, NY

HCP Talent is collaborating with a Long-Term Care/Rehabilitation Facility in Lansing, NY seeking a Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RNUM) for a full-time Day shift (7a-3p) position.

RNUM Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identities any issues that affect desired resident outcomes
  • Assess, review, and maintain that daily resident care needs are met, and appropriate resident care is given
  • Address resident and staff concerns to promote quality care
  • Supervise staff nurses and CNAs to ensure their completion and quality of duties
  • Make rounds of resident rooms to observe and evaluate resident’s physical/emotional state
  • Review order and care plans
  • Provide direct nursing care as necessary
  • Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Remain prepared to do any services or assignments within the scope of practice of an RN

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid NYS RN License
  • 1 Year of Nursing Experience is Required
  • 1 Year Experience in Long-Term Care Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
