Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrator & Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, payroll, and financial reporting. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic office environment and contribute to the smooth operation of the organization. This is a small company and the right candidate will need to assist shipping with their paperwork and logistics as well.
Duties:
- Manage corporate accounting tasks such as payroll, general ledger reconciliation, and account reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes
- Utilize double-entry bookkeeping principles to maintain accurate financial records
- Assist in budgeting processes and monitor expenses to ensure financial stability
- Proficient in financial concepts and able to apply them effectively
- Must have experience with accounting QuickBooks
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently - ability to stay each day to balance the books
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Prior experience in office administration or accounting roles is preferred
