Job Summary and Qualifications

Contracts Manager assists Division Director Physician Contract Administration in the respective HCA division and facilities’ contracting process for professional and administrative service agreements.

What you will do in this role:

• Assists with obtaining appropriate internal approvals, drafting, finalizing and maintaining new and existing agreements and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Establishes and maintains relationships between the division contracting department and facility administration, legal counsel, and other relevant parties as needed.
• Generates reports and tracking systems for tracking the physician contracts inventory.
• Assists in maintenance and integrity of the contract management database (master control log) for the division, and uses the database system is to produce physician and non-physician agreements within the respective division or hospital.
• Assists and participates in education and coordination with executive hospital leaders and/or local contract administrators, (possibly bi-weekly, but always monthly).

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, business management, or relevant field OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience

• Paralegal Certificate preferred

• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred

• One (1) year healthcare industry experience preferred

• One (1) year contract management experience preferred

• Two (2) years paralegal experience preferred

• Two (2) years healthcare compliance experience preferred
