Job Summary and Qualifications
The referal coordinator is responsible for managing all new patient referrals for the for Center for Blood Cancer Program. S/he assists with obtaining appropriate patient referral information and coordinating patient appointments for all providers, including but not limited to physicians, advanced practice professionals, and or other entities where initiation of care for patients is needed
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
2. 3 years experience with medical office scheduling/management required
3. Oncology experience, preferred
4. Strong customer service skills
5. Strong computer skills
