The Peach Truck is a beloved brand known for bringing the freshest, most delicious peaches straight from our orchards to the local community. Our mission is to share the joy of fresh, juicy peaches with everyone. As we expand our operations during our busiest season, we are looking for dedicated Seasonal Truck Drivers to help deliver our produce to a range of local markets and direct-to-consumer points.

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Seasonal Truck Driver to operate a 26-foot truck equipped with a liftgate for the delivery of our fresh peaches and other produce. This role is essential in maintaining The Peach Truck’s reputation for timely and friendly delivery of our high-quality products. You will play a key role in ensuring our fresh produce reaches our customers safely and efficiently, providing excellent service at each stop.

Seasonal Duration: This is a seasonal position typically running from May to September, perfect for those looking for temporary work during the summer months.

• Safely operate a 26-foot truck, navigating through local routes to deliver produce directly to markets and customers.
• Use a liftgate to load and unload crates and boxes of peaches and other produce, ensuring all items are secured during transit.
• Engage with customers at each delivery point, providing exceptional service and representing The Peach Truck brand positively.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any maintenance issues.
• Adhere to assigned delivery schedules and plan routes efficiently to meet delivery windows.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory movement.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Address and resolve customer questions or concerns at delivery locations.

• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus) and clean driving record.
• Proven experience driving a 26-foot truck or similar.
• Experience in using mechanical liftgates.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with local area geography and traffic patterns.
