The Manager of Performance Management Integrations and Operations advances HCA and Clinical Operations Group strategic priorities through coordination and management of the established enterprise-wide Performance Management Program (Integrated Clinical and Operational Navigation [ICON]). Specifically, this role provides direction and organizational support for continued rollouts and Division/Facility enterprise-wide ICON and Performance Management Program integration, as well as day-to-day coordination and operations of the current enterprise-wide Performance Management Program.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible to coordinate and manage ICON rollouts, leading to full enterprise ICON integration, thus advancing performance of HCA and Clinical Operations Group strategic priorities.
• Collaborates with interprofessional and cross-functional teams including all Facility, Division, and Corporate entities. This includes provision of direction and organizational support for continued rollouts and enterprise-wide ICON integration, as well as coordination and operational support of day-to-day Performance Management Program operations.
• Manages and coordinates on-site ICON and Performance Management-related integration support. This includes management and coordination of both geographical and Program-related expansion (i.e. introduction of a new strategy/tactic versus integration of a new Division/Facility).
• Manages and coordinates ICON and Performance Management-related integration logistics. This includes management and coordination of both geographical and Program-related expansion (i.e. introduction of a new strategy/tactic versus integration of a new Division/Facility).
• Manages and coordinates communication of Program and product enhancements and changes to end-users.
• Through administration of ICON integrations and the Performance Management Program, supports crosscutting, evidence-based practices and standards of care for multidisciplinary teams, as well as adherence to regulatory, policy, and evidence-based guidelines that fosters clinical and operational advancement.
• Collaborates with multiple clinical and operational subject matter experts to support integration of new and revised clinical and operational content, including communication of clinical and operational content enhancements to end-users.
• Collaborates with Business Owner, Product Owner, and ITG partners to support advancement of ICON software and Performance Management Program capabilities, including communication of technical and workflow enhancements to end-users.
• Through integration of ICON and administration and operation of the enterprise-wide Performance Management Program:
· Supports alignment of ICON and Performance Management to the HCA and Clinical Operations Group strategy.
· Supports Division and Facility advancement from incremental improvement to sustained, cross-domain improvement.
· Administrates and operates ICON within the enterprise-wide Performance Management Program.
· Administrates and operates ICON within the enterprise-wide Performance Management principles: Non-punitive, process-focused approach; team-based action plans leveraging assess, teach, perform, and manage functions; and adherence to the ICON surveillance cycle.
• Through administration of ICON integrations and the Performance Management Program, supports real-time clinical and operational remedy to clinical and operational risks.
• Supports a maturing and evolving Performance Management Program that effective, sustainable, and measurable.
• Supports advancement of key performance and process indicators to advance clinical and operational effectiveness.
• Provides the analytics to determine department level, service line level, or facility level Tier Performance for the ICON Performance Management Program.
• Provides guidance and advisement to the ICON leadership team for the next best action to be taken by the Unit/Facility.
• Provides reports monthly for Tier Performance for all currently enrolled programs, in coordination with Data Services.
EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Manager (Nursing or Quality) or Director (Nursing or Quality) position. Specifically, a minimum of 5 years direct care experience.
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is required. Master’s degree in nursing or equivalent healthcare-related leadership degree is preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Active licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Nursing leadership certification preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Commanding knowledge and experience caring for multiple patient populations.
• Travel approximately 50%
• Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, SharePoint, WebEx, basic navigation of internal and external data and data sources.
