Job Summary:

The Melanoma and Skin Cancer Institute, in conjunction with Swedish Medical Center, is recruiting a new medical oncologist to join their team in Denver, CO
 
Qualified Candidates:

• Internal Medicine board certified is preferred
• Medical Oncology board eligible/board certified
• Interest/eaxperience in treating melanoma and skin cancer required
• Experience as Principal Investigator, or strong interest in future participation as Investigator in high-level clinical trials in melanoma and cutaneous malignancy
• Interest/Experience in hospital-based service line development or practice leadership
• Motivated; adaptable, team player, inquisitive, idea-generating
• Experienced candidates as well as upcoming graduates encouraged to apply

About The Melanoma and Skin Cancer Institute (The MSCI) and Swedish Medical Center (SMC):

• The MSCI is a medical oncology practice and research institute specializing in treating patients diagnosed with melanoma and other types of skin cancers
• Led by Dr. Ryan Weight, the team at The MSCI offers a combined 20 years of experience caring for cancer patients
• The MSCI leads and enrolls to practice-changing national and global clinical trials including NIH funded translational research in partnership with local research institutes
• The MSCI brings cutting edge medicine to melanoma and skin cancer patients in the state of Colorado and beyond
• The MSCI provides opportunities to engage directly with leading pharmaceutical partners to bring the most advanced melanoma care to the region
• The MSCI engages in investigator-initiated research to bring physician-led ideas to clinical practice
