Job Summary
The Gate Technician provides maintenance services to our clients that have a gate maintenance contract through scheduled preventative maintenance, equipment installations, advanced troubleshooting and repairs, emergency services and other client needs.
Essential Duties
- Conduct preventative maintenance and emergency gate repair on gates for clients with contracted services
- Train client on CCTV software and assist in setting up remote viewing capabilities. Effectively communicate issues to the clients, and provide solutions in a clear way
- Equipment installation, to include digging for conduit and posts, and mounting equipment
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and repair for damaged or malfunctioning gates for clients with contracted services, provide assistance with access, camera and similar systems, and generate and provide reports when requested
- Troubleshoot low voltage equipment to understand how it is affecting our equipment, provide custom fabrication for equipment mounts and other gate equipment as necessary, and assist field lead in training new team members.

Working Environment
- Use of industry specific hand tools and outdoor manual labor
- Standing, crouching, lifting, pulling, ladder use
- Ability to safely lift a minimum of 40 pounds unassisted
- 95% of the time is spent outdoors
