SUMMARY

HBK CPAs & Consultants, a large, regional multidisciplinary financial services firm, is currently seeking an experienced General Accountant to join our team in the Canfield, Ohio office. This individual would be part of the Internal Finance/Accounting Department and is not client-facing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounts receivable, & accounts payable
• Associate degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to switch between tasks
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or Sage Intacct is a plus
• Familiarity with payroll processing is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deposit miscellaneous reimbursement checks & record in the GL
• Prepare several cash receipt reports for review by Operations
• Record commissions received
• Prepare intercompany billings for multiple entities/lines of business
• Journal entry preparation
• Account reconciliations
• Accounts Payable invoice entry for multiple entities
• Enter principal draw requests for payment
• Enter employee expenses for payment
• Enter reimbursable expenses into the billing system
