MANUFACTURING NIGHT PRODUCTION MANAGER

Hazelett is looking to hire a self-motivated Night Production Manager that will provide daily direction and leadership to team members on second and third shift. This includes coordinating activities for production employees, enabling them to reach the job objectives and productivity goals in a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate a "safety first" mindset by fostering open communication, implementing proactive training, and enforcing clear safety protocols.
• Develop and maintain a positive work environment by motivating, coaching, and encouraging employees.
• Provide support, maintain employee relations, and address performance issues.
• Communicate with day shift management of production status and equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with production priorities as identified by daily planning schedule.
• Coordinate efforts between work centers to minimize delays and downtime.
• Ensure all work procedures and practices are compliant with the established safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Oversee 15-25 employees and operating equipment, in multiple buildings?.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management experience with multiple direct reports
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
• Machine operation experience (desirable).
• Welding experience (desirable).
• Excellent knowledge of plant operation procedures and business system (ERP/MRP) software applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain productivity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Working conditions

· Approximately 50% office / 50% manufacturing shop floor

Physical requirements

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
