Who You Are
The Tax Associate position requires a steady, accurate, analytical worker who can complete a project on time, every time. The right candidate will want to achieve goals while also being accountable and thrive in a professional work environment. They will be willing to cooperate with everyone, while also being supportive and helpful of the Haynie team. Ideally this person will work onsite or hybrid out of our Austin, TX office.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Up to 1 year Public accounting experience a must
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Solid understanding of accounting and tax principles
- In-depth knowledge of accounting processes
- Strong Team Player mindset
- Outstanding written and communication skills
- Experience with CCH, Lacerte, Quick Books, Canopy and Engagement preferred
- Accountable result-oriented individual who takes ownership of their work and deadlines
