WORK DESCRIPTION:

The Program Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and coordination of services for the unit. The Supervisor will provide direct supervision of staff/clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide support to staff in the Mater Hall program at Haymarket Center.

Conducts internal audits of supervised staff’s performance, attendance, and completion of documentation of their reporting staff performance evaluations.

Complete supervised staff performance reviews and maintain records of same.

Develop goals and objectives specific to each managed program or service.

Program development specific to each managed program or service and reflective of its established goals and objectives.

Meets weekly with the Outpatient Manager and staff to ensure integrated coordination of shared residents/clients.

Evaluation of program efficiency and effectiveness.

Direct involvement with key stakeholders.

External marketing of managed programs and recovery homes overall.

Networking and Public Relations.

Facilitate didactic and therapeutic groups and document for each resident in attendance.

Provide written and monthly report (MOR) to administration that is reflective of each managed program or service’s activities in addition to other written reports that may be requested or required.

Assist in fund seeking activities/grant preparation.

Advocate for Haymarket Center in the recovering community.

Conduct secondary/tertiary interview with job applicants and present recommendations for hire to VP of Clinical Services.

Seek supervision as appropriate and necessary.

Other duties as required for effective team work or as assigned by Supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide direct and indirect supervision to Counselors/Case Managers.

Responsible for overall program management of assigned programs and/or services.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Sedentary work; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. May involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED*:

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree;

CADC preferred and/or other licensure;

Knowledge of and ability to manage programs;

Knowledge of and ability to perform supervisory functions;

Able to deal with multiple projects in stressful environment;

Represents self and agency well;

Basic Computer skills;

Well Organized; and 

Good Team building skills.

Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree

CADC preferred and NCRS required.

Knowledge of and ability to manage programs.

Knowledge of and ability to perform supervisory functions.

Can deal with multiple projects in stressful environment.

Represents self and agency well.

Computer skills.

Organized.

Team building skills.
