This is a Second Shift position 4:15PM-2:45PM Monday-Thursday

The Material Handler is responsible for safely executing the varied responsibilities to meet the

production schedule and quality targets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform visual quality checks on all finished products.
• Remove strut from mill and bundle as appropriate.
• Assemble concrete insert strut.
• Prepare and/or bundle strut pieces for welder.
• Load and unload machines.
• Package baseboard and other materials.
• Assembly of baseboard accessories including pressing and welding.
• Assemble rooftop blocks.
• Load coils onto coil joiner and weld properly.
• Support and provide input for continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of area according to 5S principles to provide a safe and effective

working space.

• Maintain integrity of equipment and report issues to supervisor or maintenance.
• Support with on-the-job training for material handler activities.

• Must be able to use measuring devices.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure accuracy.
• Commitment to safety and to adhere to all safety rules.
• Demonstrates ability to work in team, treat colleagues with respect and has a high level

of accountability / punctuality.

• Willingness to be cross-trained and rotate through all business functions as required by

business needs.

• Proven record of strong attendance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
