Hayden Machinery is seeking a highly organized and efficient Parts Support person to join our team. Parts Support is responsible for accurately and efficiently handling inventory, performing general warehouse duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse facility. This role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory items.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock movements, damaged goods, and discrepencies.
  • Perform regular stock checks and report an discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Properly place stock and manage bin locations in a timely manner.
• Order fulfillment
  • Pick, pack, and label products accurately for outgoing orders for retail customers, shop, and field technicians.
  • Handle shop and retail returns with the Parts Admin.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they are complete, properly packed, and labeled correctly.
  • Coordinate with the shipping carriers to arrange for timely and efficient delivery of orders. Perform troubleshooting for lost/damaged shipments with these carriers.
• Warehouse Organization
  • Organize and maintain warehouse space for efficient storage and accessibility.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the warehouse by following standards procedures and regulations.
  • Dispose of waste materials and hazardous items in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Ensure all orders are properly marked and labeled.
• Equipment Operation
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the maintenance department.
• Quality Control
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and accuracy.
  • Report any damaged or faulty items to the supervisor and assist in the return process.
  • Positively take ownership of the customer experience with Hayden Machinery.
• Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist colleagues in their tasks when required, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and order tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Physical Abilities/Requirements

Able to work overtime, including evenings and occasional weekends. Able to stand for an extensive amount of time. Able to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Work is performed with frequent exposure to outside elements and seasonal environmental factors. Frequent stooping, bending, and lifting occur. The majority of time is spent walking or standing.
