Job Title: Contracts and Billing Supervisor

How You Will Contribute:

The Contracts and Billing Supervisor oversees the accurate completion and entry of sales contracts, collaborates with customers and financial institutions for construction loan funding, manages customer/lender billings, and supports New Home Advisors with finance-related knowledge. This role includes supervision of the Construction Billing Administrator and Contract Coordinator.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leadership: Leads team development, coaching, and collaboration efforts, while seeking continuous improvement and fostering communication within the Construction Billing team.
  • Contracts and Sales Team Support: Oversees contract administration and sales team support, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and efficient procedures. Manages contract tracking, customer deposits, Addendums/Change Orders, serves as the primary advisor contact, executes plans, and maintains accurate records within systems.
  • Billing and Receivables Administration: Manages billing and receivables, ensuring efficient processes and accurate record-keeping. Handles contract understanding, project record maintenance, schedule updates, timely payments, funding file management, internal data analysis, tool development, and proactive data analysis for informed decision-making.

What You Can Offer:

    • Bachelor’s degree or prior relevant experience

    • Understanding of contractual documents
    • Knowledge of basic lending practices
    • Experience in accounts receivable management
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Abilities
    • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
    • Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner
    • Ability to work well with team members to produce quality work within tight timeframes.

  • Experience
    • Minimum of five years progressive, relevant experience required
    • Previous experience in at least one of the following disciplines is required: accounts receivable management, contract/sales management, accounting, finance, lending, escrow, or title
