Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Duties:
- Assist in patient intake and preparation for therapy sessions
- Aid in implementing therapeutic exercise programs
- Support patients during therapy sessions as directed by the physical therapist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience or interest in patient care and service
- Familiarity with acute care settings or hospitals is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards patients
