Location Description:
Hawks Cay Resort, an iconic destination resort in the Florida Keys, reopened in August 2018 following a $50 million renovation. A recipient of the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award and a member of the Preferred Hotel Group Lifestyle Collection, this 60-acre, tropical destination boasts 177 guestrooms and 250 two
and three-bedroom villas, a full-service marina, six restaurants, saltwater lagoon, five swimming pools, kid and teen clubs and spa.
Overview:

OB SUMMARY:

1. Processes all Uniforms through the system according to department procedures.

2. Maintains a consistent stock of all Uniforms removing substandard uniforms from circulation.

3. Works to keep the supply consistent to the benefit of all hotel department operations.

4. Cleans the uniform room and equipment on a daily basis to keep it free of dust and debris.

5. Meets with Cintas, our uniform supplier, on a weekly basis.

6. Conducts sizings and orders uniforms for new Crew members.

7. Reports all equipment failures to the supervisor immediately for scheduled repair.

8. Reports all uniform shortages to the supervisor immediately for re-order.

9. Adhere to all department and resort rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Uniform Room Attendant should have previous experience as a Housekeeping employee as a laundry attendant or guest room attendant in a similar organization.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The Uniform Room Attendant should be in excellent physical condition; capable of performing walking and standing for at least eight hours. Complete mobility (the ability to bend, stoop, kneel and lift) is required. He/she may often expect to work long hours under pressure. One can expect to work on weekends and holidays.
